Happy Valentines Day

Happy Valentines day to everyone. I have some mixed feelings about Valentines day. I think it is wonderful and all, you know, spreading love and good cheer to all. But a large part of Valentines day is a big smack in the face and is more of "Single Awareness Day" for a lot of people. Basically I feel like it is just an awkward day for everyone in both parties.
Earlier I was feeling a bit discouraged about today, and I think that the best way to describe my feelings leading up to this blessed day of love, is to listen to Adam Sandler in the "Wedding Singer." It is a funny video that makes me laugh and feel oddly better about life.

I was trying so hard to be in a bad mood and hate this day, but I couldn't do it for long. I couldn't help it! I just love love too much. I feel like a dedicated to love shouldn't have such bad feelings toward it. Instead of wallowing I decided to just try and love people and focus on loving others and Heavenly Father. Here is what I felt like the rest of my day went. This song is by Ingrid Michaelson and it is just what everyone in this world needs to hear on this beautiful Valentines day, and every other day of the year...
