Awkward and Awesome Thursday

So there is this little thing called Awkward and Awesome Thursday. Sydney from The Daybook came up with the idea. So I thought I would jump on the bandwagon and do it as well. Her blog is probably one of my favorite blogs ever. She is so super adorable. Plus she goes to BYU Idaho as well, so you know she has to be cool. I see her on campus sometimes and I get kind of star struck. I went up to talk to her once and tell her that her blog had literally changed my life and that I adored the socks off of her. (Okay, maybe not those exact words, but the feeling was there) She is super nice. I vote you go read her blog, go ahead. Read it. But WAIT!! First, read mine. That is why you are here right? Right. I'm glad we are both in agreement.

So anyway! Back to Awkward and Awesome Thursday...

Awkward:
-How stinking cold it is in Rexburg. I mean honestly, I think the rest of the world just shuns the cold and sends it here and we're so nice that we take the cold for them. I am highly in favor of changing that system. And soon.
-Saying hello to people and trying to make friends then they look at you like you are crazy. Nope, just friendly thank you, nice to meet you too.
-I am like a boy. I eat my lunch and then a half an hour later I am hungry again...and again...and again...
-The icky smell of steamed (more like rotting) broccoli wafting all over the library. This then causes everyone to look around for the perpetrator. (We could never find them, but they knew what they had done. I'm assuming that they left because they knew how horrendous the smell was. For that, I thank you my broccoli eating friend. Way to be healthy and considerate of your fellow students.)
-The married couple in front of me in my communications class canoodling and nuzzling each other while I was trying to listen to our lecture on advertisement. I won't go into any more detail, but oh my goodness... I did not enjoy it one bit. I wrote them a nice little letter on my notes telling them about my feelings. PDA people, PDA. Gross. Valentines day isn't until Monday. Plus! It was in class! Double gross and awkward.
-The married canoodler in front of me popping out from his PDA to have the loudest voice I have ever heard to answer questions. The brown nose-oodler.
-My teacher asking if anyone was offended by watching a Budweiser Superbowl commercial and having the only one who raised their hand be the canoodling married man and then having my teacher tell him that he could leave. Oh wait, that was awesome...

Awesome:
-Waking up and having time to get ready, make my bed and leaving my room clean.
-Getting to both my classes early.
-Going to the Spori Art Gallery. Oh how I love that place.
-Being let out of my hour and a half class 35 minutes early. Hoorah!
-Transferring my handwritten notes to my computer.
-Getting an assignment almost completely done and it is due at the end of the semester.
-Making a sack lunch and feeling like I'm in elementary school again. I was so proud of myself. It was complete with sandwich, Capri-Sun, Special-K granola bar, 100 Calorie Right Bite cookies, and My Little Pony fruit snacks. Oh yes, I am so good.
-Realizing that tomorrow is the weekend. High fives all around!
-Having people tell me that my flower headband is cute. (Thank you mom!)
-Having a super darn cute outfit today.
-NOT falling down today. I am super clumsy and falling is a common occurrence, so this is a totally awesome thing. (Just wait, I'm going to fall down later tonight.)
-Being able to see hair when I look up. Coolest. Thing. Ever. I keep thinking there is a bug on my head and then realizing that it is hair. Happy dance inserted here.
